The short version
- We run no analytics, no advertising network and no social trackers on this site.
- The generators run inside your browser. What they produce never reaches our server.
- We set no cookies of our own. You can verify that in your browser’s storage inspector.
- We have no accounts, no newsletter and no way for you to give us personal data except by emailing us.
- If you email us, we keep the email so we can reply. That is the whole of it.
This policy describes what Tools SoShareIT does with data. It is unusually short because the site genuinely collects very little, and we would rather say so plainly than pad it into something that sounds thorough.

What the generators send us: nothing
The postal code generator on this site is JavaScript that runs on your device. When you choose a country and press generate, your browser builds the code locally and displays it. There is no request to our server, so there is no log entry, no database row and nothing for us to delete later.
This is a property of how the tool is built rather than a promise about how we behave, which is why we mention it first — you can confirm it yourself. Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and press generate. No request appears.
Cookies
We set none. The site has no login, no shopping basket, no saved preferences and no consent banner to remember your answer to, so there is nothing a cookie would be for.
Two caveats, stated so this is accurate rather than flattering. First, if we ever add a feature that genuinely needs one, this section changes before the feature ships. Second, this site is served through a content delivery network for speed, and a CDN may set a strictly technical cookie of its own to route requests or absorb attack traffic. That cookie is not ours, carries no profile of you, and is not used for advertising.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs, as essentially every web server does. A log line records the IP address that made the request, the time, the page requested, the referring page if your browser sent one, and your browser’s user-agent string.
We use those logs for two things only: seeing that the site is up and working, and investigating abuse such as an automated flood of requests. We do not use them to build profiles, we do not sell them, and we do not join them to anything else. Logs rotate on the server and old ones are discarded in the ordinary course of maintenance rather than archived.
If you email us
The address on our contact page reaches a normal mailbox. If you write to us we keep your message and your address so we can reply and so we can find the thread again if you follow up. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one.
Ask us to delete the correspondence and we will, unless we are keeping it for a specific reason such as an unresolved abuse report — in which case we will tell you that is why.
Advertising and third parties
There is no advertising on this site and no third-party analytics. We are not in an ad network, we do not run a data management platform, and we do not embed social widgets that report your visit back to a platform.
External links do exist — to standards documents and postal operators, where citing the source is the honest thing to do. Following one takes you to somebody else’s site, governed by their policy rather than this one.
Children
This site is a set of developer and testing utilities. It is not aimed at children, has nothing directed at them, and asks nobody for their age because it asks nobody for anything. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, tell us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you the right to ask what personal data an operator holds about you, to have it corrected, or to have it erased. Those rights apply to us the same as to anyone else. In practice the answer for almost every visitor is that we hold nothing except possibly a server log line, because there is no mechanism on this site by which you could have given us more.

Changes to this policy
If what we do changes, this page changes first and the date under the introduction moves with it. We do not backdate. If a change is significant — adding analytics, for instance — it will be described in plain terms here rather than absorbed into a longer sentence somewhere in the middle.
